You’ve never heard of an appliance startup before? Neither had we, but here we are!
We found some gigantic holes in the market then waited 10 years for someone else to fill them.
No one did, so Greentech was born to fix the energy and air problems in homes.
You can think of us like the “Whole Foods” of home appliances.
We’re sure you’ve got so many questions, like How? Why? Who are you? Where do I find one? Keep reading to fill in those gaps.
Greentech combines 25+ years of design engineering and 20+ years of in-home experience to disrupt dirty manufacturing and create home appliances that are healthy for your family, your home, and your world. Yes, it takes a lot of trial and error. But that’s what we do. We built it, then built it again and again until we got it right.
Greentech appliances will either save you money, save your health, or both. Greentech appliances are designed to make a better environment, indoor and outdoors. But we’re not just environment friendly, we’re cost conscious. We produce the only water heater that recycles energy and saves consumers $2000 a year.
Right here! Greentech vents will primarily be sold through local kitchen designers, but all startups have to start somewhere so we started in Kansas City, MO. Right now, pre-sales are available through this website. We will have partners for you to purchase from in January 2024.
Greentech is doing advanced testing to measure emissions produced from gas stoves and removed by the AirLife vent. If you have a gas stove in your home, you might qualify for our product testing. Please reach out.
A whole lot of grit. Being an inventor seems like not even a thing anymore. Inventing appliances that recycle energy and revitalize air seems like a pipe dream to most people. We’ve been told we can’t do it. But that’s only by people who don’t know us. The people who know us, have been cheering us on. If anyone can revolutionize the world, it’s Jody and Andy.
Josephine Cochrane made and sold the first dishwasher in 1886. She was a woman in a man’s world. She the engineer, her husband the salesperson. When he died, she had a decision to make. Was she going to do it herself? Read about her story here. She has been an inspiration to me as a female founder of an appliance startup. Do you know what the concept of her dishwasher was? Spraying water on dishes. Do you know how we still was dishes? Spraying water on dishes! She created something that has had very little innovation for 140 years. I follow Josephine Cochrane's lead by being brave enough to innovate in home appliances. Let’s solve the problems and do it better. We can do better. Greentech does better.
